| Le Châtelard VS (alt. 1120 m) is situated 23 km from Martigny via the Forclaz Pass and 19 km from Chamonix via the Montets Pass on a main tourist route offering wonderful panoramas of Martigny, the Rhone Valley, the Trient and the Arve.
The entrance of Le Châtelard Attraction Park, which is situated behind the Châtelard Electrical Power Station, is only 3 minutes walk from the free communal car park. There are two possibilities to get there: a) by the international road Martigny - Chamonix b) by the international railway line Martigny - Chamonix The connection Le Châtelard VS - Emosson Lake takes about 35 to 40 minutes, 45 to 50 in the other direction. |
